PRISM: Online multimedia project with Les Enfants Terribles Theatre Co.

With the pandemic putting a hold on theatre and live performance at present, groundbreaking theatre company Les Enfants Terribles have curated an online immersive multimedia experience unlike no other. Collaborating with video artists, performers, film makers and animators, ‘PRISM’ showcases the surreal work of it’s guest contributors, weaving over 60 video shorts into a dreamlike and twisting narrative. Each digital short will end on a binary choice, audiences will be invited to choose the path they wish to take, revealing an additional clip related to the choice made and then linking to the next collaborator. Essentially an online ‘choose your own adventure’ game experience told through diverse styles, techniques and disciplines.

My contribution tells the comedic tale of a submariner having a spot of trouble with his plumbing, Climaxing with the unwanted attentions of a giant squid and a choice that has to be made to save him from a watery grave! Told entirely with models, live action puppets and stop motion animation.
