The Forum have commissioned me to create them a puppet dragon for their summer exhibition and dragon experience. As part of the GoGoDragons event they have sponsored a design covered in coins and have named it Tuppence. As the puppet was to be the hatchling of this larger dragon, it only seemed fitting that it should be called ‘Penny’. This latex rubber puppet was cast from a 5 part mould after being sculpted in clay and covered in 1p pieces. Finished with hand painted glass eyes, it sits in a hollow fibreglass egg which also conceals the operators arm.
