Over the summer I designed and co-created the 7 dwarfs for this years Norwich Theatre Royal pantomime, Snow White. Working on behalf of Norwich Puppet Theatre, Iain Halket (The Folding Theatre Puppet Co.) and I, with production input from Mark Pitman (Garlic Theatre) built 8 rod and hand operated dwarf characters. Why eight? One of them was duplicated in order to allow the character to pop-up at various points on stage!
