L’Inconnue de la Seine: Theatrical Mask Commission

L’Inconnue de la Seine was a mysterious woman who’s drowned body was pulled from the river in Paris, her death mask with its enigmatic smile became a popular fixture in the homes of bohemian Parisians, inspiring artists, poets and philosophers.
