Houses of Parliament Theatre Education Project.

Hugo’s time machine.

Work continues with Spring Board East to devise script and concepts for the Theatre Education show that we are to deliver to key stage 2 pupils in March. The pilot scheme will be performed in Norwich and Bristol to over 300 children, and will be presented in an attention grabbing style using performance, animation and puppetry.

Poet and historian John Simpson-Wedge has been hard at work penning a number of compositions to contribute to Jim and Annette’s exciting script.

Our hero, (a puppet protagonist called Everett) is taken on a journey through time by the wacky Professor Hugo Hourglass, visiting key events in the history of parliament and meeting a variety of Kings, campaigners and characters that have shaped British democracy.
