I’ve had a very enjoyable day visiting Town Close Primary, talking to the Y2 pupils about dragons and inspiring some creative activities. Each class went out on a mini expedition of the school grounds, looking for places that dragons might be hiding and living, taking inspiration from both the buildings and the lovely woodland and nature that surrounds the school. I gave some readings of the dragon book to a very enthusiastic audience, and then in the afternoon worked with the children to begin to create a wall display to house their dragon designs.
